I'm Asmit Ghosh. I live in Kolkata, India, where I build the future.
Engineer blending AI-driven systems, real-time ML deployment, and full-stack cloud-native development. Built award-winning platforms like a YOLOv5 Smart Traffic System, ALARMS health alert tool, and RAG-based EdTech AI. Skilled in TensorFlow, Python, Next.js, Flutter, AWS/GCP, and vector databases. Lead full product cycles, mentor teams, and design user-intelligent systems. Open to ML/AI/Fullstack roles—remote or hybrid—focused on automation and intelligent platforms.
Welcome to my corner of the digital world! I&aposm a passionate full-stack developer and competitive programmer who thrives on transforming complex problems into elegant solutions. Currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Heritage Institute of Technology, I&aposve discovered that the intersection of hardware and software creates the most fascinating challenges.
My journey in technology is driven by an insatiable curiosity about how systems can be built to scale, adapt, and serve real-world needs. I specialize in cloud-native architectures, particularly with AWS ecosystems, where I&aposve learned that true efficiency comes not just from optimization, but from understanding the deeper patterns of how data flows and transforms across distributed systems.
Every line of code tells a story. Every algorithm solves a puzzle. Every system we build is a bridge between what is and what could be. That&aposs the magic I chase every day. ✨
What I&aposm Currently Building
Right now, I&aposm pouring my energy into Code Arena , a competitive programming platform that brings the thrill of real-time coding duels to life. It&aposs fascinating how WebSocket connections can create these instantaneous moments of competition, where every keystroke matters and every algorithm choice can determine victory. The platform integrates Judge0 for automated evaluation and features a comprehensive streak system that keeps programmers coming back for more challenges.
Simultaneously, I&aposm architecting an AI-powered Learning Management System that represents everything I&aposve learned about building scalable educational technology. This project combines speech-to-text processing with intelligent content generation, creating a learning environment where AWS services work in harmony to deliver seamless educational experiences. What excites me most is how the system learns and adapts, using advanced LLM techniques to understand context and generate meaningful educational content.
My Learning Journey
Technology is an endless frontier of learning, and here&aposs where my curiosity has taken me:
Backend Architecture: I&aposve immersed myself in the world of server-side development with Node.js and Express.js, exploring how cloud-native architectures can transform ideas into reality. Working with AWS services like S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB has taught me that great backend systems are invisible to users but essential to everything they do.
AI & Machine Learning: The intersection of artificial intelligence and practical applications fascinates me. I&aposve been diving deep into LLMs, RAG systems, and computer vision using YOLO and OpenCV. Each project teaches me something new about how machines can learn to see, understand, and respond to the world around us.
Algorithmic Thinking: Competitive programming has shaped how I approach problem-solving. Through platforms like CodeChef, CodeForces, and LeetCode, I&aposve learned that elegant solutions often emerge from understanding the problem deeply rather than rushing to code. Every algorithm is a story of efficiency meeting creativity.
IoT & Physical Computing: Working with ESP32 LoRa modules and sensor networks has given me appreciation for how software meets the physical world. Projects like Crop Connect have shown me how technology can solve real agricultural challenges, bridging the gap between digital innovation and tangible impact.
Beyond the Code
When I step away from the keyboard, I&aposm usually still thinking about technology—just from different angles. I love exploring the latest breakthroughs in deep learning, participating in hackathons where crazy ideas become overnight successes, and contributing to open-source projects that make the developer community stronger. Outside the tech world, I unwind with video games, binge-worthy movies and series, and music that fuels both focus and relaxation. After all, the best part about technology is that there&aposs always something new to discover tomorrow.
